Who We Impact
“How can I help with a non-profit where I can actually add value and where I know how the resources are impacting our community?”
– Kathy Boone during a Baby Bundles’ event, recounting her decision to become involved with the charity.
Too many of our neighbors struggle to meet their families’ most basic needs – healthy food, reliable housing, durable clothes, quality education, and mental health. This is unacceptable, especially when you consider the unprecedented economic growth that the Charlotte and Clemson areas have experienced in the past decade. We can do better. We need to do better.
Channeling Kathy’s unrelenting determination and indomitable spirit, the KBB Foundation’s mission is to contribute to and partner with well-established non-profits in Charlotte and Clemson that focus on serving those members of our community who need a helping hand with the essentials of life.
For 2023, we are pledging our support to the following organizations: Classroom Central, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Dabo’s All In Team, and HopeWay.
We are so grateful for the grant from the KBB Foundation and your generous gifts. What a wonderful synergy you have created by inviting friends to celebrate Kathy while also helping local families to get through a financial crisis and regain stability. Her indomitable spirit, which you help perpetuate, is undoubtedly felt by many of our clients, including Mandy. From all of us here at Crisis Assistance Ministry, thank you for inspiring hope!
